Steve and Leslie met up for their first date. They talked for 5 hours until the brewery closed that Wednesday night.

After dating for 7 months and meeting each others' family and friends, they went on their first trip together to Nashville where Steve met more of Leslie's family and Leslie watched Steve play in a softball tournament.

Steve and Leslie enjoyed a trip to Montana for a family wedding where Steve got to meet even more of Leslie's family.

Leslie spent Thanksgiving with Steve's family, meeting the remainder of his family.

Steve took Leslie to Las Vegas for her birthday. By this point, they had already talked about getting engaged. Leslie was oh so patiently waiting, and thought it might happen here... but it did not.

They went to Ireland and Leslie was sure this would make the perfect backdrop for getting engaged. Steve walked her to the top of an outlook with a view of St. Stephen's Green... and still did not propose.

They celebrated St. Paddy's Day with Steve's friends from college...

...visited many castles...

... and a cliff view called Ladies View where Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting were said to have been enamored by the beautiful view. This seemed like the perfect backdrop for a proposal and there was even a couple who looked like professional photographers with them on the mountain... and still, he did not propose. Leslie began to accept this proposal would not be happening in Ireland as they were already 6 days into their trip.

Their next stop was at Torc Waterfall, part of Killarney National Park. Leslie asked some tourists to take their picture. Steve insisted on taking one more picture.

At this point, Steve got on one knee and asked Leslie to marry him. She said yes! Thankfully the lovely tourist picked up on what was happening and filmed the whole thing!
